Electronic Structure of SAMs

We study fundamental surface processes in molecular systems used for the generation and storage of energy. Specifically, we study the interaction of molecules with surfaces with relevance in dye-sensitized solar cells and fuel cells.
Lithium-air Batteries

Furthermore, we also study surface reactions taking place in Lithium-air electrochemical cells.
Metal-Complexes on Surfaces

We utilize a broad range of experimental techniques: XPS, UPS, TPD, STM, AFM and modern synchrotron based techniques.
